Howdy,

  First let me start by saying that I am honored that you have stopped to visit. Time is a valuable thing now days, thanks for spending a little of yours with me.

  I would like to take a minute and explain who I am,  where I'm from,  and how we got this whole idea started.

  Many of you may know me,  my name is Gilbert Keith. I have been around the horse show industry  for a few decades.  I am a firefighter for Oklahoma City, and a former US Navy Corpsman .  On my off days I work horse shows as an EMT. I have worked many different World and National shows all across the country. One thing I never understood is why associations used those ugly metal stands for displaying their beautiful "Championship" saddles.

   Being a child of the 80's,  woodshop was my favorite class in high school,  and has been a hobby every since.  I enjoy the creativity, and the pride that comes along with designing,  and creating something that somebody else enjoys.

  I started building custom carved saddle stands and donating them to the youth associations of the shows I was working.  This did two things, raised a lot of money for the kids, and allowed me to see if there was an interest in Custom Saddle Stands.   A few design changes and many options later..... here we are!  From leather wrapped legs, custom carved ends, and crushed stone inlays I am sure Custom Saddle Stands can exceed your expectations.

  The products displayed on these pages are what happens when passion and curiousity meet  determination and pride.  Custom Saddle Stands are hand crafted by myself in a small shop next to the house.  That allows me to provide a quality product at an affordable price.  My turn around time is usually about three weeks. depending upon the order.
